SoundAway Pipe Wrap Noise Barrier

SoundAway Pipe Wrap Noise Barrier PSA,  is a mass loaded vinyl (MLV) bonded to 1/4" open cell foam decoupler.  For ease of installation, Pipe Wrap includes a pressure-sensitive-adhesive (PSA) surface.

SoundAway Pipe Wrap Noise Barrier PSA, as shown to the right is covered in a protective blue film that exposes the adhesive on the foam side.

Peel-and-stick Application using Pressure-Sensitive-Adhesive (PSA)

SoundAway Pipe Wrap Insulation with pressure-sensitive-adhesive (PSA) is shown with the white adhesive backing on the open cell foam.  You'll save time installing  SoundAway Pipe Wrap with PSA.  All you do is measure, cut, peel, and stick the wrap around the pipe.


SoundAway Pipe Wrap is offered with either a 1/2 lb. or 1 lb. mass loaded vinyl noise barrier.

SoundAway Pipe and Duct Wrap insulation, PDW-1,  combines a 1 pound per square foot (1#, 1/8" thick), reinforced, foil-faced mass loaded vinyl noise barrier with 1" thick quilted fiberglass decoupler.  The scrim-faced fiberglass enhances the sound absorption quality of the barrier.  Pipe and Duct Wrap insulation offers excellent thermal and acoustical performance in a Class A fire-rated product.  Standard roll sizes are 4.5' x 30', 135 SF.
