Isolation Clips: RSIC-1 EXT04

RSIC-1 EXT04 is designed to isolate a ceiling from any wood or steel framed structure. The RSIC-1 EXT04 decouples the gypsum or plywood from vibration caused by footfall or impact noise noise that transmits through the structure. The RSIC-1 EXT04 provides an additional drop for HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical Chase is needed. The RSIC-1 EXT04 is rated to suppport 36 pounds per isolator. Spacing between clips allows for support of either one or two layers of 5/8" gypsum.

The RSIC-1 EXT04 fastens directly to the side of the framing creating a cavity below the joists. For heavier systems increase the number of clips to support the additional weight.
