RSIC-DC04X2HD/DD Acoustical Isolation Clip

RSIC-DC04X2HD/DD (Double Deflection) is commonly used to decouple wall assemblies. The RSIC-DC04X2 HD/DD may be used in either new construction or remodel. Engineered to support either 1/4" thread rod or bolts. Maximum load capacity per RSIC-DC04X2HD/DD is 288 pounds.

After hearing for myself the awful sound transmitted by my “quiet” belt-drive opener in the bedroom above the garage, I determined to find something to quiet the noise.  Not many options out there, but this is all you need!  Although you can still hear some door noise as it moves, the motor and rail sounds are completely decoupled from the rest of the house.  I don’t even know when the door opens when I’m somewhere else in the house it’s so quiet!  Directions are straightforward and once I got the hang of it, installation took less than half a day for 2 doors and openers.  Totally worth it!
