Barrier MLV 1#, meets Class A per ASTM E-84, foil on one side, 1/8" x 4.5' x 30', is a high density, 1 pound per square foot, flexible, soundproofing mass loaded vinyl (MLV) noise barrier designed to block and reflectsound. SoundAway Barrier MLV offers an effective solution to blockvoices and reduce noise. Reinforced SoundAway Barrier is for interior and exterior applications, meets Class A per ASTM E-84

SoundAway Barrier is typicallyinstalled directly on studs, joists or over a sub floor then coveredwith drywall, paneling, or other finish surface.

Install your SoundAway Barrier leaving no more than 1/4" around the perimeter. Fill the gaps with SoundAway Acoustic Caulk and seal the seams between the your noise barrier using Seam Tape to create an air-tight seal.
