Green GlueGreen Glue is the highest performing viscoelastic product of its kind. Simply apply Green Glue between two layers of drywall to significantly reduce airborne noise. It is an excellent low frequency sound barrier.  Green Glue must be sandwiched between two rigid materials.  Green Glue is a water-based damping material, and, as such, it has to dry to maximize its performance.  Thus, at least one of the materials must be porous to allow the water to evaporate.
