Neoprene Isolation Tape: 1/2" x 3-1/2" x 25'

Neoprene Isolation Gasket PSA, 1/2" x 3-1/2" x 25', is a high-density closed cell foam formulated to isolate and dampen impact noise. The Neoprene Gasket includes adhesive on one side, pressure-sensitive-adhesive PSA. Cut to size and adhere between studs, sole plate, top plate or other rigid construction materials such as sheetrock (drywall), gypcrete, plywood, or sound board.

If you're looking to seal up gaps around doors or windows, this is the stuff your looking for. All the other stuff you find in Home Depot is worthless. Use the 1/4" thick version for smaller gaps. I used this to seal huge gaps around and under my old single-piece garage door and it was just perfect! It did a fantastic job of blocking sound.
