SoundAway Barrier MLV Reinfoced with a PVC-based fabric, 1/8" x 4.5' x 30', is a high density, 1 pound per square foot, flexible, soundproofing mass loaded vinyl (MLV) noise barrier designed to block and reflect sound.  SoundAway Barrier offers an effective solution to block voices and reduce noise.  Reinforced SoundAway Barrier is for interior and exterior applications.

SoundAway Barrier is typically installed directly on studs, joists or over a subfloor then covered with sheetrock, paneling, or other finished surface.  To enhance the soundproofing quality, install acoustic insulation in the wall or ceiling air space, add a layer of SoundAway Barrier, install SoundAway Sound Isolation Clips, finish with sheetrock, Green Glue and sheetrock.

Install your SoundAway Barrier leaving no more than 1/4" around the perimeter.  Fill the gaps with SoundAway Acoustical Caulk and seal the seams between the your noise barrier using Seam Tape to create an air-tight seal.
