Sound Control for Ceramic and Natrual Stone Tile

Do you want to reduce the noise from an upstairs Tile or Stone floor?

SoundAway WhisperMat-CS is a peel-and-stick sheet membrane that reduces impact and airborne sound transmission.  WhisperMat-CS Tile and Stone underlay isolates "finished" flooring from subfloor cracks.  Designed for use with ceramic tile and natural stone tile where sound absorption is required, specified or desired.

Whispermat-CS combines sound absorption properties with moisture resistance to enhance ceramic tile and stone flooring installations.  It may be applied directly on the following clean surfaces:
  • concrete
  • plywood
  • precast floor panels
  • Oriented Strand Board (OSB)
  • terrazzo
  • cement backer board
  • and fully adhered vinyl floors
