2" Gray SoundAway FireFlex Pyramids, acoustical foam panels are excellent sound absorbers for high-temperature applications or in buildings requiring Class 1 fire rated materials. Our line of FireFlex Acoustic Foams are heat resistant to 482 degrees F and able to withstand constant temperatures up to 320 degrees F. Engineered for environments where temperatures are high, sparks or other hot materials may fly and for rooms where large numbers of people congregate.
SoundAway FireFlex acoustical foams are made from a special, open cell, lightweight melamine. The internal structure of the melamine foam consists of a spacious cellular complex of slim, flexible webs that are membrane-free and completely open celled. The result is a line of FireFlrex materials with low density and extremely lightweight.
